Job Purpose
To lead the collection, analysis, and dissemination of market, competitor, and consumer insights to support marketing strategies, brand positioning, and campaign effectiveness within the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on consumer behavior, product demand, and brand perception.
- Monitor market trends, media performance, and emerging opportunities relevant to FMCG brands.
- Track and analyze competitor marketing activities, pricing, product launches, and promotional strategies.
- Deliver regular competitor benchmarking reports and strategic insights to the marketing team.
- Collaborate with brand and digital marketing teams to provide market intelligence that informs campaign planning.
- Analyze customer segments and campaign performance to recommend data-driven marketing strategies.
- Develop insightful dashboards, reports, and executive summaries using tools like Excel, PowerPoint, or BI tools.
- Present key findings to cross-functional teams and contribute to strategic marketing meetings.
Key Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Market Research or Marketing Intelligence in FMCG sector
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Advanced MS Excel & PowerPoint; experience with data tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus
- Knowledge of the FMCG industry and consumer marketing trends.
